Will you let me be your servant.
Let me be as Christ to you.
Pray that I might have the grace
To let you be my servant, too.
We are pilgrims on a journey.
We are brothers on the road.
We are here to help each other
Walk the mile and bear the load.
I will hold the Christ-light for you
In the night time of your fear.
I will hold my hand out to you;
Speak the peace you long to hear.
I will weep when you are weeping.
When you laugh, I'll laugh with you.
I will share your joy and sorrow
Till we've seen this journey through.
When we sing to God in heaven,
We shall find such harmony
Born of all we've known together
Of Christ's love and agony.
Bread of life, hope of the world,
Jesus Christ, our brother:
feed us now, give us life,
lead us to one another.
As we proclaim your death,
as we recall your life,
we remember your promise
to return again.
The bread we break and share
was scattered once as grain:
just as now it is gathered,
make your people one.
We eat this living bread,
we drink this saving cup:
sign of hope in our broken world,
source of lasting love.
Hold us in unity,
in love for all to see;
that the world may believe in you,
God of all who live.
You are the bread of peace,
you are the wine of joy,
broken now for your people,
poured in endless love.
May God satisfy your longing, be refreshment at your table,
and provide your daily bread,
guard your going and your coming, be the solace in your silence:
life within the lives you wed.
2. May God join your hopeful spirits, fill your hearts with truth and courage,
trust to share both joy and tears,
teach love to your children’s children; may your household learn to witness
living faith through all your years.
3. May God make your home a refuge where you warmly welcome strangers and the lowly find a place;
make you caring, kind companions, help you meet the needs of neighbors, finding Christ in every face.
Abide with me, fast falls the eventide
The darkness deepens Lord, with me abide
When other helpers fail and comforts flee
Help of the helpless, oh, abide with me
Swift to its close ebbs out life's little day
Earth's joys grow dim, its glories pass away
Change and decay in all around I see
O Thou who changest not, abide with me
I fear no foe, with Thee at hand to bless
Ills have no weight, and tears no bitterness
Where is death's sting?
Where, grave, thy victory?
I triumph still, if Thou abide with me
Hold Thou Thy cross before my closing eyes
Shine through the gloom and point me to the skies
Heaven's morning breaks, and earth's vain shadows flee
In life, in death, o Lord, abide with me
Abide with me, abide with me
He comes to us as one unknown,
A breath unseen, unheard;
As though within a heart of stone,
Or shriveled seed in darkness sown,
A pulse of being stirred.
As they knew You in the breaking of the bread
May we know You in the breaking of the bread
May we know You in the breaking of the bread
He comes when souls in silence lie
And thoughts of day depart;
Half seen upon the inward eye,
A falling star across the sky
Of night within the heart.
He comes to us in sound of seas,
The ocean's fume and foam;
Yet small and still upon the breeze,
A wind that stirs the tops of trees,
A voice to call us home.
Those who were in the dark
Are thankful for the sunlight;
We who live, we who die
Are grateful for his gift, thankful for his love.
Chorus:
Behold the Lamb of God.
All who eat, all who drink shall live;
And all, all who dwell in God,
Shall come to know his glory.
Peaceful now, those whose hearts
are blessed with understanding.
Of the wheat, of the wine
united with his word and the love we share.
Chorus
Gentle one, Child of God,
Join with us at this table.
Bless our lives; nourish all
who hunger for this feast;
shelter them with peace
Whatsoever you do to
The least of my people
That you do unto me
When i was hungry you gave me to eat
When i was thirsty you gave me to drink
Now enter into the home of my father
Whatsoever you do
To the least of my people
That you do unto me
When I was homeless you opened your door
When i was naked you gave me your coat
Now enter into the home of my father
Whatsoever you do
To the least of my people
That you do unto me
When I was wary you helped me find rest
When I was anxious you helped calm all my fears
Now enter into the home of my father…
Ubi cáritas est vera, est vera
Deus ibi est
Deus ibi est
The love of Christ joins us together
Let us rejoice in him
And in our love and care for all
now love God in return
In true communion let us gather
May all division cease
and in their place be Christ the Lord
Our risen Prince of Peace
May we who gather at this table
To share the bread of life
become a sacrament of love
Your healing touch, O' Christ
For those in need make us your mercy
for those oppressed, your might
Make us your Church a holy sign
of justice and new life
May we one day behold your glory
and see you face to face
rejoicing with the saints of God
to sing eternal praise
Precious Lord, take my hand
Lead me on, let me stand
I'm tired, I’m weak, I’m lone
Through the storm, through the night
Lead me on to the light
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home
When my way grows drear precious Lord linger near
When my light is almost gone
Hear my cry, hear my call
Hold my hand lest I fall
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home
When the darkness appears and the night draws near
And the day is past and gone
At the river I stand
Guide my feet, hold my hand
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home
Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes,
Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days,
Almighty, victorious, Thy great name we praise.
Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light,
Nor wanting, nor wasting, Thou rulest in might;
Thy justice like mountains high soaring above
Thy clouds which are fountains of goodness and love.
To all life Thou givest, to both great and small;
In all life Thou livest, the true life of all;
We blossom and flourish as leaves on the tree,
And wither and perish, but nought changeth Thee.
Great Father of Glory, pure Father of Light
Thine angels adore Thee, all veiling their sight;
All laud we would render, O help us to see:
’Tis only the splendor of light hideth Thee.
Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes,
Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days,
Almighty, victorious, Thy great name we praise.
Behold the Lamb of God, Behold the Lamb of God,
Jesus, Jesus is the Lamb of God.
Surely he has borne our grief
and carried the sorrows of us all.
Struck down in our stead, rejected and scorned,
and by his wounds we are healed.
Refrain
Father, forgive them; they do not understand.
They do not understand what they do.
Refrain
The kingdom of this world
has become the kingdom of Christ,
and he shall reign for endless days.
Worthy is the Lamb.
Wherever you go I shall go.
Wherever you live so shall I live.
Your people will be my people,
and your God will be my God too.
Wherever you die, I shall die,
and there shall I be buried beside you.
We will be together forever,
and our love will be the gift of our life.
